감사 나뭇가지
오랫동안 나뭇가지에
'감사'를 새긴 일죽 강대한
새기고 또 새기다 보니
어느 사이 달린 열매들
"온화함, 평온함, 친절
나눔, 내어 줌, 기쁨..."
살아낸 굴곡 끝에 맺은
삶의 비결, 그것은 감사!

For a long time, Iljuk Daehan Kang
carved "thanks" on tree branches.
As he kept carving,
the fruits grew without knowing it.
"Gentleness, peace, kindness,
sharing, giving out, joy..."
Gratitude is the secret to life
after the twists and turns of life he lived!
*Iljuk: the nickname of Daehan Kang, means one bamboo
